Collaboration Drives Conversations on the Future of Hydrogen

In June, Noble Gas Systems welcomed industry leaders, technology innovators, fleet operators, fuel providers, investors, and community stakeholders to its headquarters for the Hydrogen Action Forum, hosted in partnership with Clean Fuels Michigan. The event brought together key voices from across the hydrogen ecosystem to discuss opportunities, challenges, and the collaborative efforts needed to accelerate hydrogen adoption and strengthen America’s clean energy future.

As a proud member of Clean Fuels Michigan, Noble Gas Systems was honored to host the forum and provide a platform for meaningful dialogue around the role hydrogen can play in transportation, energy resilience, and emerging applications.

The event featured a panel discussion led by moderator Chase Attanasio and panelists Chris Kondogiani, Rainer Hoerlein, Debby Chen Byrne, and Paul Kim, who shared insights on the current state of the hydrogen market and the path forward for the industry.

The Noble Gas Systems team showcased its innovative compressed gas storage solutions, including bulk storage, packaged gas systems, and hydrogen mobility applications. Guests toured the facility, learned more about the company’s engineering approach, and experienced demonstrations of hydrogen-powered transportation technology.

The event also provided an opportunity to highlight one of the industry’s most pressing challenges: storing hydrogen efficiently, safely, and economically.

Unlike traditional cylindrical tanks, the company’s conformable design integrates more effectively within vehicle architectures, preserving passenger and cargo capacity while delivering the range, refueling speed, and performance required for demanding transportation applications.

This technology positions hydrogen as a viable solution for applications where battery-electric systems may face limitations related to range, duty cycle, payload requirements, or refueling time.
